Game Log: Dec 6, 2018: Boston 128 NY 100

Terrible loss. On National TV TNT. Boston’s defense throttled the Knicks. The Knicks lacked everything — leadership, energy, defense, shotmaking. They spent the whole game 10 to 11 points back, made a couple of runs to within 8 points but were never in it. Then they fell 17 back with 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter. I looked away and they were down by 28.

Boston doesn’t have that much more talent than Knicks. This was a loss for the coach — Fizdale.

Frank Ntilikina didn’t play. He being benched has been the talk of Knick world the last week. It was his 3rd straight DNP coaches decision. He is out of the rotation.

Highlight of the evening was when one of the announcers said Kevin Knox looked like a good player. Knox knocked down a few 3’s with his high-arcing, quick release shot. Looked good. Also Mitchell Robinson had a nice (prototypical for him) alley oop slam dunk off a feed from Emanuel Mudiay.

And Alonzo Trier had a terrific stutter step move and corner jumper. That was it. The highlights.
